Very good points. I'm 42, but I've only known I'm bi for a few years and I'm not even out to everyone I know irl. And I've just started questioning my gender in the past year. In some ways, I'm older than you, while in others you're way past me. I don't know if "elder" is a word that really means anything in such cases.
