I think we’re saying the same thing in different words. When I say meaning always trumps rhyme, I am saying that you should never sacrifice what you’re trying to say in order to make a rhyme. Use whatever means necessary, such as rhyming dictionaries like RhymeZone, to find a rhyme (or near rhyme or sight rhyme) that says exactly what you mean.
