I grew up in Pentecostal churches, though we also attended EFree, Baptist, and independent churches on occasion. I have an appreciation for speaking in tongues, although I think they tend to put way too much emphasis on it.

I've known many wonderful Pentecostals, and some of my family still attends the APOC church, though I've left as I was tired of hearing sermons about how my queerness was sinful. I now attend a Mennonite church in Regina.
