I can't help but noticed you didn't cite any Scripture. However, the passages usually cited as Jesus' "clear" teaching on marriage were actually talking about divorce and are taken out of context when used against same sex couples. That's definitely not "crystal clear" and it's duplicitious to say it is.

The "whole of Scripture" does not teach "that homosexual activity is always sinful and never a good thing" - most of Scripture doesn't even mention it at all. Scripture covers much much more than just this one thing.

I find it interesting that you accuse Matthew Vines of "hermeneutical gymnastics" when you are doing that very thing here.
