I always make sure the total claps end up on a 5 or 10 when I clap. I usually don’t give only enough to get to the next 5 though — that would be mean. If the claps are currently 104, I usually give 21 to get to 125 or 49 to get to 150.

As to why I do it: I just like how it looks. It’s an aesthetic thing. lol
